Overview

WAVE (Work And Vital Energy) is a minimalist productivity utility for Windows, designed to help professionals maintain healthy work–break cycles. It enforces structured focus intervals by displaying fullscreen lock windows across all connected monitors, ensuring that users step away from their screens at regular intervals.

The application runs silently in the background, starts automatically with Windows, and includes a modern, multi-page dashboard for complete control over settings, customization, and theme preferences.

Concept

WAVE was created for users who tend to overextend their work sessions. Instead of relying on subtle notifications, it employs fullscreen lock screens that cannot be easily dismissed. After each configured work period (for instance, two hours), all monitors are locked for a set break duration (for example, five minutes). A countdown timer, progress bar, and optional skip button guide the user through the break.

This approach transforms digital well-being into an integral part of the workday, reinforcing balance and mindfulness without external distractions.
